Meet Ryan Poquette
Ryan Poquette has served as Director of the Jubilee Ringers of First Presbyterian Church since 1998. Raised in the Madison, WI, area, Ryan attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and received his degree in music. Ryan has been playing handbells since he was a young child; in addition to the Jubilee Ringers Ryan is also the handbell director at Trinity Lutheran Church. Ryan is known throughout the Chippewa Valley for his musical talents with the violin as well. In addition to teaching in his private violin studio, Ryan is also Concertmaster of the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, and plays with both the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra and the Chippewa Valley String Quartet. Ryan works full time as a computer technician, often helping to keep the church computers in good working order.
When Ryan is not fixing computers or playing handbells or violin, he can often be found working in the kitchen as a wonderful chef, or doing some wood working or geocaching.
