"Wear ORANGE Walk" to End Gun Violence

The Gun Violence Prevention Faith in Action Group of First Presbyterian Church is planning to observe Wear Orange Day with a Wear Orange Walk from Wilson Park to Phoenix Park on Saturday, June 8th at 10am. On Wear Orange Day, people across the U.S. are invited to wear orange to raise awareness of the seriousness and pervasiveness of gun violence in America and to demonstrate their support for gun violence prevention measures. We would love for you and your friends to join us!







JONAH Series on Climate Change




JONAH SERIES ON CLIMATE CHANGE -- Invite friends and colleagues to these free and informative presentations!


  • Part 1      (Took place on May 15 at Unitarian Universalist Congregation)


  • Part 2 - June 3 "Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution" 6:30 p.m. at Unity Christ Center, 1808 Folsom St.

The evening will begin with prayers and song in the Peace Garden. Then there will be viewing of "Happening: a Clean Energy Revolution." Discussion will follow.

How can we live greener lives?


  • Part 3 June 12 Eco Justice: Acting Faithfully for Our Children 6:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 2112 Rudolph Rd., Eau Claire


The next generations are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate degradation. This evening will focus on how children and youth are affected by and are responding to climate change.


All ages can be advocates and can learn how to live out values of sustainability and care for our creation. The evening will include video clips, speakers, and discussion.


Speakers include Jim Dunning (Eau Claire County Board), Ned Gannon (UW-EC art professor and advocate), Rachel Keniston (Solheim Market Garden CSA).





Clearwater Forest Summer Camp

Presbyterian Clearwater Forest is a beautiful camp and retreat on Clearwater Lake in central Minnesota that has been changing lives in God’s woods and waters since 1954.  Presbyterian Clearwater Forest is a shared camp and retreat ministry of the Presbyteries of the Twin Cities Area, Minnesota Valleys, Northern Waters, Northern Plains and the Synod of Lakes & Prairies.

FPC Scholarship

Scholarships are available from First Presbyterian Church of Eau Claire, thanks the generosity of Gladys and Gordon Keith. 

Any member of First Presbyterian Church who is
enrolled or will be enrolled at an accredited college, university, or technical college course of study during the 2019-2020 academic session.

**Scholarship Applications are DUE MAY 31st**

Resiliency Workshop


May 29th 6:30-8:30pm First Presbyterian Church will host a “Resiliency Workshop” for parents and others who work with children and youth. 

It will be free and is presented by Mental Health Matters.



Coffee House Talent Show

Mark your calendars, you won't want to miss this!
SUNDAY, JUNE 2nd at 4:00pm
Each year the Youth Group and leaders transform the Fellowship Hall into a cozy "Coffee House" atmosphere to host a Talent Show.  Everyone (members, nonmembers, young and old...) is invited to share their gifts and talents at this popular event while guests enjoy coffee, tea, popcorn, and scrumptious homemade desserts.  
Funds raised during this event help sponsor a young boy from Nicaragua that is hosted by the Youth Group of First Presbyterian Church through World Vision.
